CREATIVE DIRECTOR
A Floral Designs was built from a love of beauty, emotion, and the belief that flowers have the power to transform not only a space, but the way a moment feels. What began as an artistic outlet slowly evolved into a deeply personal design studio rooted in care, intention, and human connection. Every celebration we take on is approached thoughtfully with the understanding that behind every installation, bouquet, and candlelit table is a real story, a family, and a memory that deserves to be honored beautifully.
Led by founder and creative director Ayana Harris, A Floral Designs is known for romantic floral styling that feels refined yet deeply personal. Drawing from her background in fine arts, Ayana approaches each event with an editorial eye while still prioritizing warmth, calmness, and a seamless client experience. She earned her undergraduate degree from Spelman College before continuing her artistic training at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree. Based in Pennsylvania and serving couples throughout the East Coast, the studio creates floral environments that feel natural, elevated, and emotionally present never overly perfect, but intentionally beautiful in all the ways that matter most.
At home, Ayana’s life is filled with love, creativity, and movement alongside her amazing son, her husband, and two charismatic dogs who keep things both grounded and very entertaining.
We value thoughtful communication, intentional design, and a seamless planning process from inquiry to installation. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, our team thoughtfully manages delivery, installation, styling, and breakdown.

Ayana, the owner of A Floral, is incredibly talented, has an unmatched eye for detail/style, communicative, and reliable. When we first reached out to A Floral, we chatted had been chatting with a few different florists. After our conversation with Ayana, the decision was easy. She listened to what we wanted and made it clear that she would get it right. Once we decided to go with her as our florist, the care and support didn’t stop. We visited her shop where she gave us beautiful displays of what we could expect on our big day. Most importantly, she worked with our budget to achieve our vision.
